Plugins
New kinds of tabs
Plugins add new kinds of tabs to Brink, made by Cynaptic and the community: developers can extend Brink with the tools they want, and every plugin is reviewed before it’s listed. They need Brink Pro, and you get them in Brink itself: “+” › Find Plugins…, or Settings › Plugins, lists the ones you don’t have yet, with Get. Brink keeps them up to date.

Report a plugin
If a plugin does something it shouldn’t, or shows something that doesn’t belong in it, tell us. In Brink, choose Report Plugin… in Settings › Plugins or in the plugin tab’s menu, or write to brinkbar-support@cynaptic.tech with the plugin’s name and version and what you saw.
How plugins are checked
Plugins are written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and each tab runs in its own web view. Every plugin, and every update to one, is read in full before it’s published, against the review rules: no code from outside the plugin, nothing above a 4+ age rating, no tracking, and its data stays in Brink. For now, every plugin is Cynaptic’s own.
Brink installs plugins only from this list, signed by Cynaptic, and updates them on its own. A plugin can be pulled: Brink then turns it off and says why. Every plugin’s source is in the brink-plugins repository on GitHub.
