Calendar tabsPro

The calendars your Mac already has, as an agenda or a week, with a Join button for online meetings and a meeting note in one click.

Brink Pro. Calendar tabs are part of Brink Pro, which you can try free for 14 days.

Set up

A calendar tab shows the calendars your Mac already has, read-only. Brink reads them through macOS: it never signs in anywhere and makes no network requests of its own.

  • Add your accounts in System Settings › Internet Accounts (iCloud, Google, or Microsoft Exchange for Outlook and Microsoft 365), or subscribe to a calendar in the Calendar app (File › New Calendar Subscription).
  • Choose Calendar in the “+” menu (C on the New Tab page). The first time, macOS asks whether Brink may see your calendars; allow full access.

If you said no, the tab says so, with Open Privacy Settings: turn on Brink in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars. macOS then asks to quit and reopen Brink.

Agenda

Today and the next six days, under a heading for each day. All-day events come first, past events are dimmed, and what’s happening now is highlighted.

  • A meeting with a Zoom, Teams, Meet or Webex link has a Join button on its line until it’s over.
  • An invitation you haven’t answered has Respond, which opens it in Calendar. Ones you said Maybe to or declined are marked (declined ones are struck through).

Week

A grid with a column for each day. Overlapping events sit side by side, all-day and multi-day events run along the top, and a red line marks the time now. Invitations you haven’t answered have a dashed outline. In a narrow tab, the grid shows three days.

Get around

  • Agenda / Week switches the view. Each calendar tab remembers its view.
  • The arrows move a week back or forward (three days in a narrow grid), and Today comes back.
  • The calendars button chooses which calendars show, in every calendar tab; Show All Calendars brings them all back.
  • Show Weekends, in the same menu or in Settings › Calendar, leaves your calendar’s weekend days out when it’s off. The agenda still shows today.

Event details

Click an event to see everything about it: in the agenda its line expands, and in the week grid a strip opens below. Click it again to close it. In the agenda, ↑ and ↓ move between events, and Return or Space opens and closes one.

The details show the time, calendar, your response, place, attendees and notes, with:

  • Join Zoom (or Teams, Meet, Webex), when it has a meeting link;
  • Meeting Note, which makes a note named like 2026-10-30 Standup with the meeting’s time, place and attendees, or opens it if you made it already. When two meetings that day share a title, the name adds the start time, so each gets its own note;
  • Open in Calendar, or Respond in Calendar for an invitation you haven’t answered. macOS doesn’t let other apps answer invitations, so you accept or decline in Calendar.

Always current

The tab follows changes to your calendars, moves on to the new day at midnight, and keeps “now” up to date. There’s one calendar tab per pane: choosing Calendar in the “+” menu again selects it.
